NetContentSEO has moved from NetContentSEO.net to NetContentSEO.com. The domain change was completed on September 20, 2026, and NetContentSEO.com is now the primary address for the publication.
This is a domain change, not a change in the project itself. NetContentSEO remains the same independent research and publishing project, with the same editorial archive, research, authorship and mission. Our work continues to focus on AI visibility, generative search, retrieval, attribution, reconstruction and the changing relationship between search systems, AI models and published information.
The project and editorial archive remain the same
Readers arriving at NetContentSEO.com will find the same publication and the same body of work previously available through the .net domain. Articles, research, experiments and editorial material remain part of the same continuous archive rather than beginning again under a new publication.
Our authorship and editorial responsibility also remain unchanged. NetContentSEO continues to be independently authored and editorially curated, with the same approach to research, experimentation and reporting described in our AI Visibility Research & Methodology documentation.
The move therefore does not represent a rebrand, a new editorial direction or a new organization. The primary web address has changed; the identity and purpose of NetContentSEO have not.
Existing .net URLs automatically redirect to .com
Existing NetContentSEO.net URLs automatically redirect to their corresponding NetContentSEO.com pages. Readers who have bookmarked an article on the previous domain can continue using that bookmark. Links to existing .net articles can also continue to resolve through the redirect to the corresponding page on .com.
For example, material that was previously accessed through the .net version of the site is now served from the equivalent location on NetContentSEO.com. Readers do not need to manually reconstruct old article URLs or search for replacement pages.
This redirect behavior is intended to keep access to the existing archive straightforward during and after the domain transition.
Why readers may still encounter NetContentSEO.net
The previous domain may continue to appear for some time in old bookmarks, external links, citations, cached material, search results, AI-generated answers or other references created before September 20. Those references still point to the same NetContentSEO publication and should resolve to the corresponding .com destination through the redirects.
New references should use NetContentSEO.com. The .com domain is now the address we will use when referring to the publication, its research and its articles going forward.
No claims about rankings or search treatment
We are not presenting the move as an SEO experiment or making claims that changing from .net to .com will improve rankings, visibility or traffic. We are also not making assumptions about whether Google or other search and AI systems will treat the new domain differently.
The purpose of this announcement is simply to document the change clearly for readers, researchers and anyone who links to or cites NetContentSEO. The publication has moved to a new primary domain, while the underlying project remains continuous.
What changes from September 20, 2026
From September 20 onward, new NetContentSEO articles and research should be referenced using the .com domain. Readers can update bookmarks if they prefer, but existing .net bookmarks should continue to work through automatic redirects.
The editorial archive remains available, the research continues, and the same authorship and mission carry forward without interruption. The change is deliberately simple: NetContentSEO.net was our previous primary address; NetContentSEO.com is the address to use now.
NetContentSEO.com is now the canonical home of NetContentSEO.
